So to close out this inauguration season I have one more bit of change.  Dr. Allen and I had a lengthy discussion last night on generational shifts from the 1920 through today or yesterday.  One aspect of that discussion that stuck with me and also has influenced what I’m about to show you is this: the start of the end of the rule of the Baby Boomers. Gen X they put between 1961-and 1981 some have said 1965. Either way with the election of a person outside of the baby-boom generation a changing of the guard is coming.  I dont make this a good thing or a bad thing.  I dont make a is this the end of Christendom or not?” statement.  I won’t make huge statements of “too may people like him… he’s too popular” Or ” He will change how politics is done”  I’ve kinda had enough of that facebook status to fill me up for a life time.  I spent the morning in my office watching the inauguration which I now believe was  a good choice. Uninterrupted.  Dont tell anyone but I think I may be a limp left, baby killing, gay loving, take people’s money never worked a day in his life, government loving, capitalist hating , not even born here, handout, agitator  liberal…Not so fast. It would surprise you who Ive voted for over the years.  Its a funny thing when the sand starts shifting. Ive started a phrase for a video I’m working on. “Know me not my Label”  So know me.  Now to something that Ive never done.  I am posting and linking the new Whitehouse.gov. I do this to show an example of part of that shift.  I’ll tell you one thing that I think is better.  You can see the before and after here.  And now commence to poking holes in that statement.

Today I went to see slumbdog millionaire. It puts faith back in the art of film. Last week I went to see 7 pounds lets just say 30 minutes in I decided to write down 5 things that i thought would be  in the outcome of the movie. I was right 4.5 times. So if you are looking for a holiday film. Slumdog millionaire is your thing. Ask me about it if you would like to know more. I know this isn’t much of a review.

I am about to put something up that I did take some pause on. But hey we are all adults here.   The video if you choose to watch it does have language in it.  Why do I show you this? Well, first I like the story. I don’t really understand it yet but I like it. Second, I like a good independent film that appears to be a little different. New bookmark

Every once in a while I come across a website that I have add to my bookmarks. Well this morning while checking my facebook I “checked” out one of those ads that you see over on the right side. It brought me to the lexus video something website.  That’s where I found oddly enough Found. I heard about this site then forgot about it a while ago. Found. Somewhat like that secrets book that you see at urban outfitters. You know the one where you just read one then you end up spending the afternoon going through it. Well found is about people finding notes and sending them in to this dude. For me this is one of those ideas that I wish I had and followed through on.  I get ideas then never want to take the time to do them…I’m getting off track. Plus.  This dude can tell it better. I’m always looking for bookmark adds so let me know if you have some.

An apology

I feel that I must apologize. I apologize to the readers of this blog that I have given you no food for thought. I apologize that I have filled it with silly videos with no commentary and pictures that make no sense. I apologize that this has not been a very good experience for you and anyone that you had referred here. I apologize for not writing comments on your blogs or even referencing the great profound things you have said to me. Sorry for being lame. I think Im realizing that I dont have pages and pages on the matter of faith. So many of my cohorts have much better things to say on that. I dont have family stories…I dont really work out my issues in writing so what to do. Maybe silly clips are the extent of my thoughts. May sound like Ive lost my passion. Need to find that. Find that and i’ll write again. The thought of a new relationship sometimes does that. Hmmm. Well like I said sorry. Going to think about maybe making this the last entry. We’ll see.
