Don’t worry Andrew, my very masculine husband loves this movie too. We spent a rainy Saturday laying on our stomachs, chin in hand on the floor watching it and singing all the songs together. He’s probably not psyched that I just shared this with the world, but it’s good for you to know you’re not alone.

This movie also is one of my favorites and that goodnight song ALWAYS makes me tear up! I’m not sure why either. My grandmother, during her early stages of Alzheimer’s, was obsessed with this movie. I remember having to make sure the 1st tape was rewound before the 2nd tape was done playing because as soon as it was over, she’d want us to start it over again. It was years before I could tolerate seeing the movie after that marathon.
