beautiful afternoon

Im on my porch doing something the brings me pleasure. it may be the very reason to why I bought this house.  If you are inside right now you are blowing it. It is beautiful outside right now.  Today was good day.  I have a new found energy.Jimmie you are correct.  I too felt a little weir but I am getting over it. I had a boss tell me something really great today.  Well it was an email that i never got.  Oh yeah to wireless. Im on my porch this is awesome. Kinda like being at a coffee shop.  For 2008 I am going to do something awesome. I dont know what it will be but it will be awesome. I haven’t had much time to think about it because of tour but its coming.  I realized that I dont say many profound things here. Guess what folks you wont get it. This is about me ramblings and all. Sometimes I’ll give you a little something but for now if we arent really friends and you were intimidated “that’s for Whitney” and you were scared to talk to me well here it is. You’ll find out how messed up I am.  Apple store update. I think I have been dumped.  It’s like asking a girl on a date and she says yes but didnt tell me when to pick her up.  I will try something else. dont worry.Ok some friends have been discussing race relations.   I never say too much at work because I think people think I think like they do.  Some say that we have many races that come to camp and etc. Sorry to tell you. I wouldnt call us a safe place for other races.  Wait safe i mean that our personalities look like them. That doesnt happen. Some would say show me the person.  You know this is too important for me to just have this be a couple of thoughts so I will stop there.  More to come.

Oks so this time they get 4800 bucks to give away. This is pretty good challenge the boys are teaming up the girls are independent. Miss America is asking the Librarian what she would do.

Miss America is doing the single mom route pay off school.

Black American dude is working with the military guy. slomo shots of the kids.

Wheel chair girls just asked a guy on the street.

You know there was a show that did something like this. Well it wasnt a show until someone saw them and turned it into that. I’ll see if I can find it.

Boys are at a childrens home.

I found it it was called Random 1 one of their rules was they won’t just give you money.

8:15 Wheel chair lady (this may be rude I’ll get her name soon) is helping out a family whose child is handicapped.

I do have a samll story about a guy I met this weekend. His name was Lou. Lou was a little different. He was looking for the actors and I couldnt find them so I talked with him for a bit. Once I got over my own issues we talked for a bit. He said he was a clown and a juggler. And yes he was a juggler. Because he talked a little different and looked a different i automatically talked real slow and got uncomfortable. Why is that. I got to get over crap like that. So that was Lou. good kid. not like the rotten little kid I caught stealing from the store. then lied about it. Ugh.

8:30 Ok the english I think black guy is giving out 400 bucks at a time at the hospital neo unit. Pretty creative huh. Just hand out cash.

Miss america gave up and is just getting stuff from Target. Plug Plug. and is going to give it to the homeless.

OMG. I just saw an ad for a show what wold you do. I will be watching that show.

8:45 Ok the wheel chair lady is a TV producer.

Country girl got on a radio station. She Did a great job. Helping out an auction. The groups that are doing the best is the ones that use the money to help them give more and not just handing out cash.

Oh and the surprise they had was that they need to give away the car

The black woman gave a spa day to women infected with Aids. Platt said it right it will not have the last word. The wheel chair lady helped her family communicate with their daughter and sister. I think I know who is going home. handing out cash…lame

The dudes working on the denver children’s home. that’s a big deal. they raised in two days 248,000 dollars. that’s huge. That is a big give. Go big or go home.

well well the military guy got kicked off for giving the car to the manager.

This was not a bad episode. Keep it coming oprah.  here is what I liked. They had to find someone. Someone at random. I think I hope what it shows is that need is usually just a couple blocks away.  What ever you think of oprah anything that we can do to shine a light on pockets of hope will change lives.  It seems so daunting.  I’ll see you next week.

Sunday tv night

Oprah’s big give is about to come on and I’m watching Bourne Supremacy.  Just like last week I will be tracking along with that show and do a sorta real time blog with it.   I was coming home today from a chicken place and heard a song that reminded me  of a phase that I went though. Wait let me tell you the lyrics and see if you can guess.  “That’s my house and that’s my car and that’s my dog in my back yard there’s the window to the room where she lays her pretty head”  Yup country music. I went through this crazy time where I listened to country music. Now I wouldn’t say that I bought a single cd.  I didnt do that but I did know the words to many songs.  I guess Im a lover of music right even the kind that if I walked into a bar that served that client el I would be stop people in their tracks.  Oh the early post was a slide show that I created I think 2 yrs ago.  Ah the memories.  Ok the DVR has started I’ll let it go for about 15 minutes then let the fun ensue.  I guess I’ll need to start dvr bourne wait I own that movie.  Ok be back in a bit.

You ever sit in a dark room trying to believe this is true. Life is a funny thing. One day you are floating high the other you are wondering what went wrong. Now hold on before you go to your prayer closet to try to figure out what’s going on. I’m sitting on my couch in a home that God has given me looking at the birds fly into my backyard and I wonder what did I do and did to deserve all of this. I mean come on what am doing here. I wonder what my life would have been like 13 years ago if I never took a friend’s offer and joined up with the place I work now. Would I have never met some great friends would I never been able to travel. Im not really deep in thought right now just sitting watching House on the dvr and trying to think what I should do today. So far I have made chocolate chip muffins a cup of coffee and catching up on tv Ive missed.

I’ll be back a little later. What ever happened to this girl. I think she is still in atlanta. She used to work for the company I work for. Kristi. I never asked about her name. I took these for her a while ago and lost originals these are from my flickr.

Things I like

There is one thing I like about blogs. They are great conversation starters. You can say stuff like on my blog I said this or I said that.   Plus you can meet new people. I think I really just met Jamie.  Jamie is Aaron’s wife. Now while I have met her before and I’ve read her blog I never really sat down and talked with her.   I know people probably say this about her all the time but there is something about her. I cant quite put my finger on it.  I think she makes you want tell her stuf.  Dont ask me how.  I ended up talking about my past. Not past like hey here is the thing Im struggling  with.  Its more like well if im going to tell anyone I guess I’ll tell her.  Ok so I’ve added her to my blogroll so check her out.  She is doing something that is monumental that more should know and do.  Change a life.  Oh and this is her below.

Ready to go home or “Love”

Last night I saw the most amazing thing. Our own Jimmy was kick’n it on stage during the concert shooting. I look up and see a white glow and what do you there he is. I think he needs to work on some of his zooms a little bit but keep up the good work sir.

I realized something also last night. I really dont know any of the guys wives so I always feel a little awkward talking to them. I dont know why they have always been really nice to me. I guess we have spent so much time with the spur guys I forget I have only seen them here and when you think about it I have only seen them in the room really. So are we just tour friends. that would be real sad I think.

Friday Nights

So we just completed a friday night with a good bunch of people. Riddle did his thing with his band and aaron and the dudes did their thing sprinkle with a little Vassar and add a little at2ap and we just finished friday night tour or what ever we are calling it. We are working with the name again. What’s in a name I say. I’ll call it bunnie beboppers. Anyway. I’m looking forward to finishing up tomorrow. Its not so much that Im looking for this to end as I’m looking for something new. i really should be going to bed but here I am writing to a world that I dont know. Tonight Kurtis did something for betsy Ross. he knitted really fast. I laughed and so did the crowd. I dont post enough tour pictures so here is one. I have been trying to sell my computer but I havent had any takes. need to try something soon. Oh I’d like you to meet Ross. Ross is a monitor engineer. He will be working with us this summer Im very excited about that. He told us he just wants to serve and will go where ever he is needed. World Meet Ross.
